About Rick
Rick Yaverbaum MSW, LCSW
Rick Yaverbaum MSW, LCSW received his Master's Degree from Columbia University School of Social Work in 1990 and is a certified family therapist trained at the Center for Family Studies in Springfield, New Jersey. He has also trained at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York for cognitive behavioral therapy. Rick has practiced at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, and at Atlantic Health Systems (Morristown Memorial and Overlook Hospitals). He served as Acting Director of the Eating Disorder Program at Atlantic Health and as a clinician with the Department of Psychiatry at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Rick specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, adolescent, marital/family issues and assisting adult men and young men with various aspects of their lives. Rick is on the Board of Trustees of the Partnership for Children of Essex.
